Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
MILWAUKEE, April 16 (UPI) -- Mike Cameron hit two home runs Wednesday and Rickie Weeks capped a five-run sixth with a two-run blast, carrying Milwaukee past Cincinnati 9-3.
The Brewers broke up a 3-3 tie with their big inning, which made a winner out of Braden Looper (1-0). He allowed three runs on six hits while striking out five over six innings.
Milwaukee halted a four-game losing streak.
Cameron went 3-for-3 with three RBI and Jason Kendall drove in two runs. Cameron's solo homers came in the second and fourth innings.
Micah Owings (0-1), making his Cincinnati debut, allowed five hits and four runs over five-plus innings. The Reds had won three in a row.
After Cincinnati tied the game in the top of the sixth, Prince Fielder opened the bottom half of the inning with a double. Cameron walked one out later and Hall then doubled home Fielder. Kendall followed with a two-run double and Weeks finished the surge with a homer to right.
