CHICAGO, April 15 (UPI) -- Shawn Marion scored 34 points Wednesday and Toronto rode a hot first period to a 109-98 victory over Chicago.

The Bulls surprisingly fell from the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference to No. 7 when Philadelphia handed Cleveland only its second home loss of the season.

That turn of events set up a first-round playoff meeting between Chicago and defending champion Boston.

Chris Bosh made his first five shots from the field and Toronto raced to a 32-18 lead after one period. The Bulls fell behind by as many as 20 in the second quarter. Bosh finished with 21 points and 19 rebounds, helping the Raptors end the season with two straight victories.

Ben Gordon tallied 23 points for the Bulls, but needed 22 shots to do it.
