ARLINGTON, Texas, April 15 (UPI) -- Luke Scott drove in three runs, including two in the top of the 10th inning, to propel the Baltimore Orioles to a 7-5 road win over the Texas Rangers Tuesday.

Scott hit a two-run double through the gap in left-center to give the Orioles a 7-3 lead in their half of the 10th, an inning that had started with the two teams tied 3-3.

Eddie Guardado (0-1) took the loss for the Rangers after giving up four runs on four hits in the 10th. Jim Johnson (1-0) picked up the win with two scoreless innings in relief.

The Rangers scratched out a pair of runs in the bottom of the 10th but George Sherill was able to get Nelson Cruz to end the game on a fly ball with a runner on third.

Scott went 2-for-4 with a solo home run that tied the game 3-3 in fourth, a score that held up until the extra inning. Adam Jones had two hits and three RBIs for the Birds.

Texas took a 1-0 lead in the first on a home run by Michael Young, one of three solo shots for the Rangers. But Aubrey Huff led off the second with a homer that tied the game.

The Rangers jumped ahead 3-1 in their half of the second on solo home runs by Cruz and Chris Davis.
