Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

NEW YORK, April 14 (UPI) -- The New York Islanders won the NHL draft lottery Tuesday and will have first pick when the draft begins June 26 in Montreal.
The Islanders finished in last place this season in the NHL with 61 points. Under the lottery system, only the five teams with the fewest points had the chance to win the first overall selection.
The Tampa Bay Lightning were awarded the second pick, Colorado third, Atlanta fourth and Los Angeles fifth.
Tampa Bay got the No. 1 pick in last year's draft and selected Steven Stamkos from Canadian juniors.
