NBA: Chicago 91, Detroit 88

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 13 (UPI) -- Ben Gordon scored with 14.6 seconds left and Derrick Rose had 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter Monday to help the Chicago Bulls beat Detroit 91-88.

Gordon had 19 points and Rose eight assists to enable Chicago to climb into sixth place in the NBA East, a half-game ahead of Philadelphia. Joakim Noah added 11 points and 13 rebounds in the Bulls' fifth straight win.

Richard Hamilton scored 25 points for the Pistons, who as the No. 8 seed will face the top-ranked Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs. Tayshaun Prince had 19 points and Rodney Stuckey finished with 16 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for Detroit.
