ST. LOUIS, April 12 (UPI) -- A complete-game three-hit shutout by Kyle Lohse Sunday lifted the St. Louis Cardinals to a 3-0 victory against the Houston Astros.
Sunday's win finished a three-game sweep.
Lohse (2-0) did not walk a batter in his 112 pitches, fanned four and after Michael Bourn's lead-off single, retired the next 24 batters.
St. Louis's Khalil Greene went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Ryan Ludwick and Chris Duncan also had one RBI each for the Cardinals, winners of five of seven.
St. Louis slugger Albert Pujols went 0-for-3 a day after his two-homer, seven RBI performance.
Three players -- Bourn, Kaz Matsui and Hunter Pence -- had one hit for the Astros, who have won just once in six tries.
Losing pitcher Wandy Rodriguez (0-1) yielded three earned runs and five hits in six innings with three walks and four strikeouts.
