Arbitrators rule against Orioles pitcher Bergesen

CLEVELAND, April 12 (UPI) -- Cleveland's Travis Hafner and Mark DeRosa each hit a two-run home run and the Indians topped Toronto 8-4 Sunday for their first win of the season.
Trevor Crowe contributed a double and two RBI for Cleveland.
Anthony Reyes (1-0) got the win, allowing four runs and three hits over six innings.
Vernon Wells homered and Alex Rios hit an RBI triple for the Blue Jays, who had won their previous three games.
David Purcey (0-1) tossed 4 2/3 innings and took the loss. Purcey struck out 10 batters, but walked six and gave up four hits and five runs.
