MLB: Chicago Cubs 6, Milwaukee 5

MILWAUKEE, April 12 (UPI) -- Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run ninth-inning homer and the Chicago Cubs came back from a 5-3 deficit Saturday to top Milwaukee 6-5.

Soriano had two hits, three RBI and two runs scored, Kosuke Fukudome finished with a solo homer, a double and two RBI, and Aramis Ramirez had a solo homer for the Cubs -- who trailed 5-3 going into the eighth inning but scored a run in the eighth and won it on Soriano's shot in the ninth.

Chicago starter Carlos Zambrano went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and three walks. Aaron Heilman (1-0) pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings in relief to get the victory and Carlos Marmol picked up the save for the Cubs.

Prince Fielder had a two-run homer and J.J. Hardy drove in two for Milwaukee.

Brewers' starter Dave Bush allowed three runs on six hits in 6 1/3 innings, with five strikeouts. Carlos Villanueva (1-1), who gave up the homer to Soriano, took the loss.
