NHL: Toronto 5, Ottawa 2

TORONTO, April 11 (UPI) -- Boyd Devereaux posted his second NHL career hat trick and Niklas Hagman had two goals Saturday to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 5-2 win over Ottawa.

In the regular-season finale for two teams that will miss the playoffs, Lee Stempniak and Matt Stajan had two assists apiece and Martin Gerber went 37-of-39 in goal for Toronto.

Jason Spezza and Chris Kelly scored and Brian Elliott posted 25 saves for the Senators, who closed out the season with two straight losses.
