TORONTO, April 11 (UPI) -- Pablo Ricchetti's goal in the 87th minute Saturday helped FC Dallas to a 1-1 tie with Toronto FC.

Dallas (0-3-1) earned its first point of the season after opening with three losses during which it was outscored 7-2 by opponents.

Dwayne De Rosario scored for Toronto FC (1-1-2), which has yet to win in two home matches this season, having dropped its home opener to Seattle.

De Rosario posted his first goal of the season in the 17th minute, putting a header past Dallas goalie Ray Burse after a throw into the penalty area by Adrian Serioux. Dallas acquired De Rosario and Serioux during the off-season.

Ricchetti scored the equalizer off a pass from Eric Avila, who controlled a corner kick and fed Ricchetti across the middle.

Toronto rookie Stefan Frei posted six saves. Burse finished with just one save.
