CINCINNATI, April 11 (UPI) -- Ryan Doumit drove in five runs Saturday, keying the Pittsburgh Pirates' 10-2 rout of the Cincinnati Reds.

His third hit, a grand slam homer, was part of Pittsburgh's five-run ninth inning.

Nate McLouth and Adam LaRoche also homered, with McLouth launching a two-run homer in the top of the first, one of his two hits with three RBI. Pittsburgh's Nyjer Morgan scored two runs, drove in one and had three.

Winning Pirates pitcher Paul Maholm (1-0) surrendered just one earned run with three hits in seven innings.

The Pirates have won three of their first five contests.

Cincinnati's Jay Bruce drove in both its runs with a seventh-inning ground out and a ninth-inning single.

Losing pitcher Johnny Cueto (0-1) gave up four earned runs and eight hits in six innings with a walk and nine strikeouts.
