TORONTO, April 10 (UPI) -- Caron Butler made a jump shot with a second remaining Friday, giving the Washington Wizards a 100-98 victory over Toronto.
Two teams long since eliminated from playoff contention put on an entertaining show and combined for 69 points in the fourth quarter.
It was only the sixth road win of the season for the Wizards, and just their 19th victory overall -- 11 fewer than the next worst team in the Eastern Conference.
After Toronto's Jason Kapono tied the game on a 3-pointer with 29 seconds left, Juan Dixon put Washington in front with a fadeaway jumper.
The Raptors again tied it when Jose Calderon made a layup with 16 seconds to go. After a time out, Washington set up Butler for the game-winning shot.
Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Butler added 21.
Toronto, which has lost four in a row after winning six straight, was led by Chris Bosh with 21.
