Wozniacki leads Florida tennis winners

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla., April 9 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark led Thursday's second-round winners at the women's MPS Group Championships in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

The rising Dane beat France's Virginie Razzano 6-3, 7-5 on the fourth day of the inaugural event at the Sawgrass Country Club.

Elsewhere, fifth-seeded Aleksandra Wozniak of Canada rallied to down Germany's Sabine Lisicki 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4; unseeded Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia was a 7-5 6-3 winner against American Bethanie Mattek-Sands, the No. 8 seed; and Austria's Tamira Paszek was a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 winner over American Varvara Lepchenko.

On Friday, Wozniacki meets Hantuchova while Wozniak faces Paszek.

The tournament's eventual champion will earn a $37,000 pay check
