MARBELLA, Spain, April 9 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Jelena Jankovic was a dominant winner in second-round play Thursday at the $500,000 Andalucia Tennis Experience tournament in Spain.

Jankovic won 60 percent of the points in the match and dropped just one service game in a 6-3, 6-0 romp over Selima Sfar. Jankovic posted breaks in five of Sfar's service games.

She advanced to Friday's quarterfinals where she will play Roberta Vinci, who won her second-round match Wednesday in the clay-court tournament.

No. 3-seeded Kaia Kanepi also was a straight-set winner, defeating Arantxa Rus. 7-5, 6-2; as was sixth-seeded Sara Errani, who topped Polona Hercog, 6-0, 7-6 (9-7). But fifth-seeded Carla Suarez Navarro, a local favorite, didn't take a first-set game before rallying for a 0-6, 6-3, 6-0 win over Ekaterina Ivanova.

Klara Zakopalova, who upset world No. 1 Serena Williams on Wednesday, made the quarterfinals with a 7-6 (9-7), 5-7, 6-0 decision over Renata Voracova.

In addition to the Jankovic-Vinci match Friday, Kanepi plays No. 7-seeded Sorana Cirstea, fourth-seeded Anabel Medina Garrigues faces Errani, and Suarez Navarro meets Zakopalova.

The winner of the tournament, which will be determined Sunday, collects $112,303.
