Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

HOUSTON, April 9 (UPI) -- German Tommy Haas advanced in the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston Thursday with a three-set victory over Spaniard Marcel Granollers.
Haas, a wild-card entrant, rallied to defeat the sixth-seeded Granollers, the defending champion, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 in a second-round match at the River Oaks Country Club.
In other matches, Russian Evgeny Korolev topped Spaniard Daniel Gimeno-Traver 6-3, 7-6 (7-4); Argentina's Guillermo Canas beat American wild card Taylor Dent 6-2, 6-2, and Bjorn Phau of Germany eliminated American qualifier Scoville Jenkins 6-4, 7-6 (7-2).
