VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 8 (UPI) -- Mattias Ohlund scored a pair of goals Tuesday that gave the Vancouver Canucks a 4-1 win over Calgary and lifted them into a first-place tie with the Flames.

Roberto Luongo shined with 46 saves in goal for Vancouver as the two teams ended the night atop the Northwest Division with 96 points, although Calgary owns the tie-breaker.

The Flames had their hands full in Vancouver as they lost their third game in their last five outings. The Canucks snapped a three-game losing streak.

Jarome Iginla scored the lone Calgary goal.

Vancouver opened the scoring in the first despite being outshot 21-9 in the period. Rick Rypien scored from the right circle to make it 1-0 with 2:30 to play in the period.

Calgary evened the score with 5:16 to play in the second period when Iginla punched a rebound past Mikka Kiprusoff.

The deadlock lasted all of 22 seconds until Ohlund scored the first of his two goals with a slapshot that found its way through a crowd and past Kiprusoff.

Ohlund scored again on a power play with 5:09 left in the game and was followed up by Henrik Sedin's goal with about 2 1/2 to play.
