NBA: Minnesota 87, LA Clippers 77

LOS ANGELES, April 8 (UPI) -- Ryan Gomes' 24 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday propelled the Minnesota Timberwolves to an 87-77 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kevin Love added 13 points and 15 rebounds, while Craig Smith scored 16 and Sebastian Telfair netted 13 as Minnesota won its second straight on the road.

Eric Gordon's 28 points led the Clippers, who lost their sixth straight. Brian Skinner added 16 points and a season-high 14 rebounds off the bench.

Minnesota won this matchup between two NBA bottom feeders by dominating the boards 62-34. The two teams have just 41 wins combined.
