NBA: Atlanta 113, Milwaukee 105

MILWAUKEE, April 8 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson scored 30 points Wednesday and Atlanta pulled away late to defeat Milwaukee 113-105.

The Hawks have virtually wrapped up a home-court edge in the opening round of the playoffs. Atlanta, which is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, has a 3 1/2-game lead over Miami. The Hawks have three games remaining and Miami has four.

Mike Bibby added 22 points for Atlanta, which won its second straight.

Milwaukee was led by Keith Bogans off the bench with 22 points. Richard Jefferson contributed 19. Milwaukee has lost four straight.

The Bucks trailed by 13 early in the fourth period, but cut their deficit to two with 1:51 to play. Atlanta then went on an 11-2 run, ignited by a 3-pointer from Bibby.
