PHILADELPHIA, April 8 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia Phillies averted a season-opening three-game sweep by rallying back from a 10-3 deficit to record a 12-11 win over the Atlanta Braves.

The big inning in their comeback was an eight-run seventh when four batters drew bases-loaded walks from Atlanta relievers.

Left fielder Raul Ibanez scored three times, had three hits, one a two-run second inning homer, and three RBI.

Chase Utley had two hits, including a double, and two RBI.

Ryan Howard also had an RBI double and scored twice, while Shane Victorino and Pedro Feliz added two its apiece for the reigning World Series champions, who received their 2008 championship rings during a pre-game ceremony.

The winner was reliever Clay Condrey (1-0).

Atlanta's Brian McCann hit a two-run first-inning homer among three RBI.

Jordan Schafer hit a two-run blast.

Matt Diaz added a solo homer among two hits and three RBI.

In all, five Braves had two hits.

The losing pitcher was reliever Blaine Boyer (0-1).
