CASABLANCA, Morocco, April 8 (UPI) -- Fourth-seeded Victor Hanescu dropped just one game Wednesday in a second-round rout at the Grand Prix Hassan II tennis tournament in Morocco.

Hanescu needed just 47 minutes to finish off a 6-1, 6-0 win over Ivan Navarro. He broke Navarro's serve five out of six times and didn't face a break point. Hanescu won 80 percent of the points on his own serve and 67 percent when Navarro served.

The win moved Hanescu into a quarterfinal match Friday against Juan Ferrero, who was a 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) winner over Potito Starace in his second-round match.

No. 3-seeded Albert Montanes rallied for a 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 victory over qualifier Santiago Ventura in a match that to more than two hours. He next goes against Frederico Gil in the quarterfinals. Gil moved out of the second round on the strength of a 6-7 (2-7), 7-5, 6-4 win over Ivan Ljubicic.

The winner of the Grand Prix Hassan II, which is played on red clay, will collect $96,000.
