Police again unable to interview Woods

NEWARK, N.J., April 7 (UPI) -- Toronto had three first-period goals and Martin Gerber made 47 saves Tuesday, paving the way to a 4-1 Maple Leafs win over New Jersey.
Mikhail Grabovski, Jeff Hamilton, Christian Hanson and John Mitchell all scored for the Maple Leafs, who had lost four of their previous five games.
Jamie Langenbrunner had the lone goal -- his 29th of the season -- for the Devils, who lost for the seventh time in their last nine games. Martin Brodeur gave up four goals on 18 shots to take the loss.
New Jersey is four points behind Washington for the second seed in the Eastern Conference with both teams having two games left in the regular season.
