NHL: Pittsburgh 6, Tampa Bay 4

TAMPA, Fla., April 7 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby scored twice and Petr Sykora got the game-winner Tuesday, enabling Pittsburgh to post a 6-4 win over Tampa Bay.

Jordan Staal had a goal and two assists, and Ruslan Fedotenko added a goal and assist for the Penguins, who clinched a playoff spot.

Pittsburgh, with 95 points, is sixth in the Eastern Conference and three points ahead of Montreal. Both the Penguins and Canadiens have two games left, the second being a matchup against each other Saturday.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 33 saves to get the win. Evgeni Malkin had two assists, giving him 110 points this season and the NHL points lead over Washington's Alex Ovechkin, who also had two assists Tuesday and has 108 points.
