NHL: N.Y. Rangers 3, Montreal 1

NEW YORK, April 7 (UPI) -- Chris Drury scored two goals and Henrik Lundqvist made 24 saves Tuesday to give the New York Rangers a 3-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Nik Antropov also scored for the Rangers, who had lost four of their previous five games. Ryan Callahan had two assists in the win.

New York has 91 points and, with Florida's 2-1 loss to Philadelphia, has a two-point lead over Florida for the eighth playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.

Mathieu Dandenault scored the lone goal for Montreal and Carey Price was charged with three goals on 44 shots for the Canadiens, who have 92 points and are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
