NHL: Ottawa 3, Montreal 2

MONTREAL, April 6 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley scored twice in a 38-second span in the third period Monday to give the Ottawa Senators a 3-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Chris Campoli scored the other goal and Alex Auld made 20 saves for the Senators.

Alex Kovalev and Roman Hamrlik each had a goal for the Canadiens. Jaroslav Halak made 20 saves in the loss.

Montreal is seventh in the Eastern Conference with 92 points, three ahead of the New York Rangers and Panthers. Montreal plays the Rangers Tuesday.
