SAN JOSE, Calif., April 5 (UPI) -- Bobby Ryan had two goals and Ryan Getzlaf set a franchise assists record Saturday to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 5-2 win over San Jose.

Getzlaf had four assists to run his season total to a club-best 64. Teemu Selanne, Corey Perry and Mike Brown scored for Anaheim, which has won four straight games and nine of its last 10 to climb into the seventh spot in the Western Conference playoff chase with 88 points. Jonas Hiller made 28 saves in his club-record seventh straight win.

The Ducks -- who have three regular-season games left and trail sixth-place Columbus by just one point -- lead Nashville and St. Louis by two points. The Predators beat Columbus in a shootout Saturday while the Blues fell to the Dallas Stars in overtime.

Joe Thornton and Milan Michalek scored for the Sharks, who had won three straight coming into the game. Evgeni Nabokov finished with 22 saves.

San Jose has 113 points and leads the idle Detroit Red Wings by six points in the West. The Sharks lead Boston by one point for the best record in the NHL.
