DETROIT, April 5 (UPI) -- Connecticut men's basketball Coach Jim Calhoun says he will take some time to decide his future following recent negative reports about his program.
"During the next two, three, four, five months, which I always do and have done for the last 10 years, I will be reflecting on some things," Calhoun told the Hartford Courant after his team's surprising 82-73 loss to Michigan State at the Final Four at Detroit.
Recently, a reporter confronted Calhoun about the six-figure salary the coach earns at Connecticut during a struggling ecomony, and Yahoo! Sports reported that the Big East Conference school is dealing with recruiting violations.
Calhoun, 66, said an NCAA gag order prohibits him from discussing the recent allegations.
