NHL: Ottawa 4, Philadelphia 3 (SO)

OTTAWA, April 4 (UPI) -- Mike Fisher scored in the fifth round of a shootout Saturday giving the Ottawa Senators a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Ottawa's Jason Spezza scored his 31st goal this season to create a 3-3 tie at 3:47 of the third period. The overtime went scoreless.

Spezza also had one assist. Chris Kelly and Nick Foligno scored once apiece, while Alex Auld stopped 31-of-34 shots for the Senators, who had lost four of five and have been eliminated in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Philadelphia got a goal and an assist from Mike Richards and one goal each from Simon Gagne and Darroll Powe.

Antero Niittymaki yielded three goals on 35 shots for the Flyers, who have dropped four of six, but retain the fourth playoff seed in the East with 95 points.
