WASHINGTON, April 4 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade had 33 points, eight assists and five rebounds Saturday to lead the Miami Heat to a 118-104 win over the Washington Wizards.
Jermaine O'Neal and Yakhouba Diawara each had 16 points and Michael Beasley and James Jones scored 13 points each for the Heat, who are close behind Philadelphia for fifth place in the NBA East.
Caron Butler had 27 points for the Wizards, who have been eliminated from playoff contention.
Antawn Jamison added 23 points for Washington and Brendan Haywood had 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Miami led by only one point early in the fourth period but went on an 8-0 run and was ahead by 14 points at 102-88 with six minutes left.
