OAKLAND, Calif., April 4 (UPI) -- Two key 3-pointers by Anthony Morrow down the stretch Friday helped send the Golden State Warriors to a 111-103 win over New Orleans.

The Hornets began the night hoping for a combination of results that would allow them to tie San Antonio for first place in the Southwest Division. Instead, New Orleans fell two games out of the lead.

Jamal Crawford scored 37 points to lead the Warriors, who had plenty left for New Orleans despite going overtime in a thrilling win over Sacramento 24 hours earlier.

Morrow had 24 points and was the catalyst for the Warriors in the game's final minutes.

Golden State held only a two-point lead with 5 minutes to play, but the Warriors ran off six straight points to take control. The last of those points came on a 3-pointer by Morrow that put the Warriors in front 94-86 with 3:54 remaining.

Morrow hit another 3-pointer with 2:50 to go that gave Golden State a 99-91 lead.

Chris Paul and David West combined to score all but 29 of the Hornets' points. Paul had 43 points and West pulled down 13 rebounds to go with his 31 points.

During the first 18 minutes of the second half, no one but Paul and West scored for the Hornets.
