NBA: Chicago 103, New Jersey 94

CHICAGO, April 4 (UPI) -- Ben Gordon scored 18 points, including a last-minute 3-pointer Saturday to pace the Chicago Bulls' 103-94 win over the New Jersey Nets.

John Salmons added 17 points and Derrick Rose 15 to help the Bulls move 2 1/2 games ahead of Charlotte Bobcats for the eighth and final playoff slot in the NBA Eastern Conference playoff race. Joakim Noah had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which has won five of its last seven games.

The Nets lost for the sixth time in seven games and are 5 1/2 games behind Chicao with six games to play.

Brook Lopez led New Jersey with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Fellow rookie Ryan Anderson had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
