FOXBOROUGH, Mass., April 4 (UPI) -- Second-half goals by Sainey Nyassi and Steve Ralston Saturday lifted the New England Revolution to a 2-1 win over FC Dallas in its MLS home opener.

Nyassi, from the right wing, rocketed a 20-yard shot past FC Dallas goalkeeper Ray Burse, creating a 1-1 tie in the 56th minute.

Ralston scored the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 80th minute after referee Silviu Petrescu called a foul on the Hoops' Kheli Dube in New England's penalty area. He beat Hoops' goalkeeper Ray Burse for his first goal this season.

Dallas (0-3-0) led 1-0 when striker Kenny Cooper redirected a Dave van den Bergh cross into the net from close range in the 38th minute for its first goal since the 9th minute of its March 21 season-opener, a 3-1 loss to Chicago.

New England (2

1) moved into first place in the Eastern Conference, two points ahead of D.C. United, which beat Houston Saturday 1-0.
