OKLAHOMA CITY, April 3 (UPI) -- A big game by LaMarcus Aldridge Friday led the Portland Trail Blazers to the brink of a playoff berth with a 107-72 whipping of Oklahoma City.

Aldridge scored 35 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. The 35-point victory came on the heels of a 21-point win over Utah Tuesday.

One more win by Portland or a loss by Phoenix during the rest of the regular season would give the Trail Blazers a post-season spot. Phoenix was in action late Friday against Sacramento.

Brandon Roy contributed 15 points for Portland and Steve Blake had 14.

The Thunder lost for the sixth time in eight games, although one of the two wins in that stretch was an unexpected triumph over San Antonio. Kevin Durant's 13 points led Oklahoma City.
