NHL: Florida 5, Ottawa 2

SUNRISE, Fla., March 31 (UPI) -- Michael Frolik had a goal and two assists Tuesday to keep the Florida Panthers in the playoff hunt with a 5-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

Nathan Horton, Richard Zednik, Bryan McCabe and Stephen Weiss all scored for the Panthers, who won three games in a row and remained one point behind the eighth-place Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Craig Anderson stopped 30 shots for his 15th win of the season.

Chris Kelly and Chris Campoli scored for the Senators, who have lost three of four games.

Starter Brian Elliott played the majority of the contest, allowing all four goals on 21 shots. Alex Auld stopped all five shots he faced in 18 minutes for the remainder of the game.
