INDIANAPOLIS, March 31 (UPI) -- Danny Granger had 31 points and T.J. Ford scored in the final seconds Tuesday to carry the Indiana Pacers to a 107-105 win over Chicago.
After Chicago's Ben Gordon tied the game at 105-all, Ford, who had 22 points and nine assists, sank a jumper from just inside the stripe with 3.9 seconds remaining. Gordon's closing 3-point try fell short.
Troy Murphy added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers, who are 3 1/2 games behind the Bulls for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Derrick Rose paced Chicago with 24 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Kirk Hinrich and Tyrus Thomas each scored 20 points for the Bulls.
