NHL: St. Louis 5, Columbus 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 29 (UPI) -- Five players scored and Chris Mason blocked 26 shots Sunday, carrying St. Louis to its fifth straight win, a 5-2 decision over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Blues are 12-4-1 in their last 17 games and hold the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference race for the playoffs.

Patrik Berglund notched a goal and two assists, David Perron and T.J. Oshie each had a goal and assist and David Backes and Brad Boyes added goals for St. Louis.

Fedor Tyutin and Rick Nash scored for Columbus, which is in the No. 6 spot in the West.

Jackets goalie Steve Mason had 22 saves.
