Tommie Harris' wife dies

TAMPA, Fla., March 29 (UPI) -- Rookie Ottawa goaltender Brian Elliott recorded his first NHL shutout Sunday, blocking 20 shots in a 3-0 Senators win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Dany Heatley, Ryan Shannon and Jason Spezza scored for Ottawa, which has won six of eight games but trails Montreal by 10 points for the eighth and last playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
Heatley, who has 35 goals this season, played in his 500th NHL game.
Karri Ramo was credited with 26 saves in Tampa Bay's sixth defeat in seven games.
