Jamie Lundmark and Daymond Langkow also had one goal apiece. Lundmark added an assist, while Miikka Kiprusoff needed to make 13 saves on only 15 shots for the Flames, who had been shutout in back-to-back games by Pittsburgh and Columbus, and won for just the fourth time in their last 11 outings.
Minnesota's goals were scored by Andrew Brunette in the first and James Sheppard n the second.
Niklas Backstrom was beaten three times on 40 shots for the Wild, who have only three wins in their last 10 games and are three points out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
