AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 29 (UPI) -- Will Bynum scored nine of his 12 points during a fourth-period rally Sunday, helping the Detroit Pistons record a key 101-97 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Pistons trailed 89-83 early in the fourth, but Amir Johnson's two free throws capped a 10-0 run, giving them a 93-89 lead with 5:27 remaining.
Detroit shot 52.8 percent from the floor and pulled within 1 1/2 games of the 76ers for the No. 6 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
Tayshaun Prince led the way for Detroit with 21 points. Rodney Stuckey had 16 points, three rebounds and five assists.
Richard Hamilton scored 14 with seven assists and four rebounds, while Allen Iverson added eight points in his return from a 16-game absence with a back injury.
Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with 27 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Thaddeus Young scored 22 with eight rebounds and Andre Miller added 13 points and six assists in the 76ers' second straight loss after three-game winning streak.
