INDIANAPOLIS, March 29 (UPI) -- Goran Suton's 19 points and 10 rebounds Sunday led Michigan State to an easy 64-52 win over Louisville at the Midwest Region final in Indianapolis.
The victory led the Spartans to the Final Four in Detroit next Saturday.
The 6-foot-10 senior center set a tone in MSU's 30-27 halftime edge by scoring 17 points, including three 3-pointers.
Durrell Summers scored 12 with three rebounds. Kalin Lucas added 10 with three rebounds and five assists for the second-seeded Spartans (30-6), who advanced to their fifth Final Four in the last 11 years under Coach Tom Izzo.
They face the West Region's top seed, Connecticut, in the national semifinals.
Earl Clark led Louisville with 19 points and five rebounds. Preston Knowles, the only other player in double figures, added 11 points for the Cardinals (31-6), the No. 1 overall seed.
They shot just 38.3 percent from the field and lost the battle of the boards by a 35-27 margin.
