Shin leads Phoenix LPGA by one shot

PHOENIX, March 28 (UPI) -- South Korean Jiyai Shin shot a 6-under 66 Saturday to take the lead after three rounds of the J Golf Phoenix LPGA International in Phoenix.

Shin, 20 and already a four-time winner on the LPGA Tour, stood at 10-under 206 for a one-shot lead over Hall of Famer Karrie Webb of Australia and fellow 20-year-old Korean In-Kyung Kim.

Shin, still considered a rookie, won three times last year, including the Women's British Open and the ADT Championship. She won the HSBC Women's Champions tournament this season.

Webb, 34 and trying for her first victory since 2006, had a 3-under 69 in the third round. Kim surrendered the lead she held since Thursday by posting a one-under 71 to tie Webb in second place at 207.

Suzann Pettersen (70) of Norway was alone in fourth place at 208.

Two-time defending champion Lorena Ochoa (70) was tied for 19th place at 214.
