NEW YORK, March 27 (UPI) -- Al Harrington made five long-range shots and scored 23 points Friday, helping push the New York Knicks to a 103-93 win over New Orleans.

The Knicks halted a six-game losing streak.

David Lee had 18 points and 11 rebounds for his 57th double-double of the season. New York won at home for just the second time in its last nine appearances.

The Knicks are 5 ½ games out of a playoff position in the Eastern Conference with 10 contests remaining.

New Orleans, which has dropped two straight on the heels of a three-game winning streak, got 29 points from David West and 22 from Chris Paul.

The Hornets' James Posey was kicked out of the game in the fourth quarter for throwing the ball at referee Gary Zielinski.

New York overcame a seven-point halftime deficit and went on a 10-0 run in the third period to take a 67-57 lead.
