PHILADELPHIA, March 27 (UPI) -- A layup by Raymond Felton with 8 seconds remaining Friday finally halted a Philadelphia comeback and gave the Charlotte Bobcats a 100-95 win over the 76ers.
Charlotte saw an 18-point, fourth-quarter lead dwindle to just three when Andre Iguodala made a 3-pointer with 47 seconds remaining.
Raja Bell missed a jumper for Charlotte with the shot clock running down but an offensive rebound kept the ball in the hands of the Bobcats and Felton came through with the game-clinching layup.
Boris Diaw led Charlotte with 24 points and Felton had 20.
The Bobcats are 2 ½ games out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Iguodala paced Philadelphia with 25 points and Thaddeus Young contributed 21 -- the sixth straight game he has had at least 20.
The 76ers had a three-game winning streak halted.
