NBA: LA Clippers 140, New York 135 (OT)

NEW YORK, March 25 (UPI) -- Mike Taylor scored 35 points Wednesday and started a Los Angeles surge in overtime, boosting the Clippers to a 140-135 win over New York.

For the second time against the Clippers this season, New York's Al Harrington was called for a late technical foul that allowed the game to go into overtime.

When the teams played in Los Angeles last month, Harrington pulled himself up on the rim after a dunk and slapped the backboard with both hands. That resulted in a technical and the ensuing free throw forced overtime in a game the Clippers won 128-124.

In Wednesday's game, Harrington dunked with 27.9 seconds left to give New York a 127-124 lead. Again, however, he was given a technical for pulling himself up and hanging on the rim.

Eric Gordon hit the technical free throw and Zach Randolph made two more on the ensuing possession to force overtime.

Taylor's jumper started a six-point run in the extra period and the Clippers went on to end a three-game losing streak.

Taylor's 35 points were a career high and Randolph added 33. Harrington scored a season-high 38.
