NHL: Tampa Bay 2, Columbus 1 (OT)

TAMPA, Fla., March 24 (UPI) -- Martin St. Louis scored 3:04 into overtime Tuesday, giving the Tampa Bay Lightning a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Steven Stamkos had two assists for the Lightning, who snapped a three-game slide and have recorded a point in six of their last seven games (3-1-3). Ryan Malone also scored for Tampa Bay. Mike McKenna stopped 33-of-34 shots to get the win.

Tampa had lost six home games in a row.

Jan Hejda scored for Columbus, which is 6-1-1 over its last eight games and is sixth in the Western Conference standings with 83 points. Steve Mason allowed both Tampa Bay goals on 17 shots.
