COL BKB: Baylor 74, Auburn 72

AUBURN, Ala., March 24 (UPI) -- LaceDarius had 19 points and nine rebounds Tuesday, pushing the Baylor Bears to a 74-72 win over the Auburn Tigers in the NIT quarterfinals.

Curtis Jerrells had 16 points and eight assists for the Bears (23-14). Kevin Rogers added 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Tweety Carter had 13 points.

The top-seeded Tigers (24-12) were led by Rasheem Barrett with 16 points. DeWayne Reed had 13 points and Korvotney Barber 11 points and a 13 rebounds for Auburn.

Next week, Baylor plays the winner of the Saint Mary's of California/San Diego State game in the semifinals in New York.
