NBA: Boston 90, Los Angeles Clippers 77

BOSTON, March 23 (UPI) -- Ray Allen scored 20 points Monday to pace the Boston Celtics to a 90-77 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rajon Rondo added 14 points, seven assists and five steals for the Celtics, who won their fourth straight game and remained one game ahead of Orlando for the second seed in the NBA Eastern Conference. The Magic, who won 106-102 at New York Monday, host the Celtics Wednesday.

Kendrick Perkins had 12 points and 13 rebounds for Boston.

Zach Randolph had 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers. Baron Davis added 13 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.
