NBA: Atlanta 109, Minnesota 97

ATLANTA, March 23 (UPI) -- Flip Murray scored 30 points Monday to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 109-97 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Mike Bibby added 20 points and nine assists and Joe Johnson had 20 points and eight rebounds for Atlanta, which has won eight of its last nine games. Al Horford had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Hawks.

Randy Foye scored 19 points to pace Minnesota, which has lost five straight games. Kevin Love had 17 points and Rodney Carney 13 points for the Timberwolves.
