Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

OMAHA, March 23 (UPI) -- Jodie Meeks completed a three-point play with 10.6 seconds left Monday to give Kentucky a 65-63 win over Creighton in the second round of the NIT.
Meeks scored 16 points for fourth-seeded Kentucky (22-13), which advances to the quarterfinal round to play second-seeded Notre Dame. Perry Stevenson added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats.
Booker Woodfox scored 18 points for top-seeded Creighton (27-8). The Bluejays got 12 points from Kenny Lawson and 14 rebounds from Justin Carter.
