KANSAS CITY, Kan., March 22 (UPI) -- Amado Guevara scored twice Saturday to lead Toronto FC to a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Wizards in the Major League Soccer season opener for both teams.

Jim Brennan also had a goal for Toronto, opening the scoring off a feed from Dwayne De Rosario in the 33rd minute. Di Rosario was appearing in his first game for Toronto since being acquired from Houston during the off-season.

Davy Arnaud scored a pair for goals for Kansas City (0-1-0). He scored his first in the 56th minute -- three minutes after Guevara's first goal had put Toronto ahead 2-1. After Guevara scored in the 62nd minute to make it 3-1, Arnaud pulled the Wizards back within one with a 25-yard shot past rookie Toronto goalie Stefan Frei.
