Tommie Harris' wife dies

CARSON, Calif., March 22 (UPI) -- Paulo Nagamura scored twice in the second half Saturday to lead Chivas USA to a 2-1 victory over Colorado in the MLS season opener for both teams.
The Rapids (0-1-0) opened the scoring when Omar Cummings' shot deflected off Chivas USA goalie Zach Thornton into the net 30 minutes into the game.
Nagamura tied it up 10 minutes into the second half with a shot inside the left post and then scored what turned out to be the game winner four minutes later.
